Telling your story

Telling the world about your B Corp Certification can be tricky. To make it easier, here are some examples from when our community did it well. (Plus this handy guide from Nice and Serious).

  • What is B Corp Month?
Every year during March, B Lab, Sistema B, and the global B Corp community join together to celebrate everything it means to be a B Corp. Throughout the month we build awareness and educate different audiences on the ways in which the movement is transforming the economic system for the better. Talking about what it means to be a B Corp, we strengthen the meaning, understanding, and trust around the B Corp Certification.
  • What is a B Corp?
Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corps envision a better economic system where businesses can benefit people, communities, and the planet. They choose long-term investments over quick wins, and measure their success based on the positive impact they create. B Corps come in all shapes and sizes, proving there’s always an opportunity to use business as a force for good.
  • How many B Corps are there?
As a movement, we have over 6,300 Certified B Corporations spanning across more than 150 industries, employing almost 400,000 people around the world. More than 500 of these B Corps are based in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
  • Where can I find a list of B Corps?
Head to our global B Corp directory where you can search by location, industry, size and more.

Copy, paste, better business

Code for Australia found that documenting their policies and employee handbooks was hard work. To make it easier for other businesses to follow suit, they open-sourced everything from their certification process. Pretty nice, right?
